But Matthew tells us that the Second Coming is “after the Tribulation of those days”. If the Rapture and the Second Coming are the same event, then these verses represent an irreconcilable difference.

This is why Paul commands Timothy to teach people how to “rightly divide” their Bibles to know which of the three groups God is speaking to at any given time.
So we see many Christian churches today, who do not rightly divide their Bibles, are teaching their people that there is no difference between the Rapture and the Second Coming.
